Since we are all going to be home for awhile, it would be a great time to get some spring cleaning done! Check out this great checklist from Taste of Home.
With all the uncertainty in the world, you can be certain that I will be here for you for all your real estate needs. Real estate is considered a “critical sector” and is an exception to the stay at home order. Most of a real estate transaction can be done electronically and any necessary face-to-face meetings can be kept to only a couple people.
We are still listing and selling houses, but we will do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Open houses have been suspended and virtual tours are being offered instead. If showings are scheduled, time should be allowed to clean in between clients, with the approval of the home owner.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions and to stay informed of changes involving COVID-19.
There is a lot of uncertainty in the world right now. But, if you look at the real estate market right now, we are in a better place than 2008. It is looking like a housing crash is unlikely.
Read the following artlcle to understand why.
The arrival of spring usually means more houses hitting the market. Sellers usually wait until the weather gets warmer and the snow melts to put their home on the market. This year, however, listing earlier may be a better idea.
2020 is looking like another year for very low mortgage interest rates, bringing more buyers to the table. Housing inventory in 2020 is also very low, leaving buyers with little options for finding their dream home.
If you are a seller that is hesitant on listing now, I would encourage you to take advantage of the current market conditions and get your home on the market. You buyer is out there waiting!
My view out the window while I work is Sammy’s Pizza. The longer I sit and look at the sign, the hungrier I get and I almost feel like calling for delivery. If you have never visited Sammy’s, it is delicious!
My point of this post? I wanted to give potential buyers, who have never lived in Grand Rapids, an idea on how many delivery options there are. Think of it, it’s a cold winter day and you don’t want to venture out. Let someone bring you dinner. Or, your having 15 kids over for a birthday party, order some pizza.
There are a variety of eats and that’s part of why Grand Rapids is a great place to live! Here is a list of some places that will deliver!
If you purchase a house in Grand Rapids, know that you won’t go hungy!
